Manufacturer & Installation Warranty

• Materials and Workmanship: Original defects in materials and workmanship are covered for as long as the original purchaser owns the product.
• Internal Mechanisms and Components: All internal components, mechanisms, and brackets are included under the warranty.
• Specific Timelines:
  • Three-Year Coverage: Covers operating cords, looped tape pleated shades, 2" horizontal vinyl blind slats, and vertical vanes.
  • Five-Year Coverage: This applies to motorization components and accessories, draperies, fabric-covered cornices and valances, soft shades, and exterior solar shades (as long as they're fully raised during adverse weather).
• Exclusions:
  • Normal wear and tear, misuse, discoloration from sunlight exposure, and variations in organic materials are not covered.
  • Labor or shipping costs for re-measuring, uninstalling, or reinstalling the products are excluded.

Not Covered by the Warranty

• Normal wear and tear
• Damage caused by abuse, accidents, alterations, misuse; failure to follow instructions for measurement, installation, use, cleaning, or maintenance
• Discoloration, fading, cracking, shrinking, or stretching caused by long exposure to direct sunlight
• Shipping or labor costs incurred by taking product down, re-measuring, or re-installation

LIMITED PRODUCT WARRANTY
POWER SCREENS

We at Rainier Shading stand behind our exceptional products with pride. Should any products purchased from Rainier become defective, we will replace or repair them free of charge under the following terms of our limited warranty:

POWER SCREEN FRAMEWORK WARRANTY
Frames and related hardware are guaranteed to function free from defects in workmanship and materials, under proper use, and unmodified components under a limited lifetime warranty (see exclusions).

FRAME FINISH WARRANTY
On all products, our frame finish is guaranteed to be free of defects in workmanship and materials under proper use for exterior applications and no closer than 1 mile from the ocean, for five (5) years from the original date of purchase (see exclusions).

FABRIC WARRANTY
This limited warranty guarantees fabric from becoming unserviceable due to: loss of color or strength from normal exposure conditions, including sunlight, mildew, rot and atmospheric chemicals, for up to fifteen (15) years from the original date of purchase. If the unit has clear vinyl windows in the fabric, they are warranted as follows: ninety (90) days for standard grade, one (1) year for premium grade (see exclusions).

MOTOR WARRANTY
Motors are warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship, under normal and proper use, for a period of eight (8) years from the original date of purchase (see exclusions).

ELECTRONICS WARRANTY
All motor controls, switches and electronics are warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship, under normal and proper use, for a period of eight (8) years beginning from the original date of purchase.

WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS
LIMITED LIABILITY AND INDEMNIFICATION
Rainier will not be liable for any consequential or incidental damages or injuries arising from an alleged breach of this within limited warranty.

PolyCore

• Materials and Workmanship: Sunland Polycore shutters are warranted against warping, cracking, and fading for 25 years.
• Internal Mechanisms and Components: All internal components and mechanisms are covered, but labor and shipping costs for reinstallation aren't included.
• Specific Exclusions:
  • Commercial applications, misuse, structural defects, and damage from high temperatures or poor installation.
  • Any repairs or modifications not made by Sunland.
• Claims: Submit written notification within 30 days of identifying a defect, providing your contact details and purchase information.

Lexwood

• Materials and Workmanship: Sunland Lexwood shutters are covered against material or workmanship defects for as long as the original purchaser owns the shutters. A 4-year limited warranty applies to the paint and stain color fastness.
• Internal Mechanisms and Components: Coverage includes all internal parts but excludes labor and shipping charges.
• Exclusions:
  • Misuse, improper installation, high humidity, or accidents.
  • Minor imperfections noticeable only under 3 feet.
• Claims: Notify Sunland immediately of any discrepancies or non-conforming products.
